Im a 26yr old girl…will turn 27 in July…I will be completing Bcom(correspondence) this year.I am interested in pursuing CA.I have been managing my fathers business(shop)from the age of 20 since my dad passed away.I have not worked anywhere other than managing my shop for 6yrs and I don’t have any corporate/outside experience.My shop is not doing all that well as a result I want to work elsewhere.I have always been inclined towards taxation and auditing and I like the subject a lot.I am very hardworking and do well in studies and can definitely put in the time and effort that is required for my studies.CA would take me 4yrs to complete…and by then I would be 31.Some of my folks tell me to go ahead and study for CA while the others say that 31 is too late to start with a career.Please Advice.
I want to be a chartered accountant...am I too old to do the course?
