I want to ask your opinion about the way they are paying me.
A staffing agency placed me there so I'm basically a Temp.
The schedule is really funky, but it boils down to, ya work 3 -12 hour
shifts one week and 4 -12 hour shifts the next week.
They don't pay you for your 1 hour lunch, so ya get 33 hours one week
and 44 hour the next week.
Well the "Real" employees get paid once ever 2 weeks, so it balances
out for them.
But I get paid each week, Here is the catch "I do not get paid any Overtime"
But to make up for that they are "giving" me 3 hours regular pay on
the week that I work 33 hours.
I'm upset that I'm getting cheated out of time and a Half for the
week that I work 44 hour.
I talked to my Aunt about that and she said that she thought that it
was illegal not to pay any Over time.
I want to ask your opinion, What do you think about this????
