I want to apply for a uni, but i want to study social sciences, not sure if i can tho?

I want to go to uni, i want to study social sciences.

Unfortunately im 21 (am i too old) and don't have a great deal of qualifications at all, only basic ones.

But i am a clever person, i can achieve anything i want

what would be the best way to get started within this area of learning?

Is it even possible for me to go to uni?
