I want some older games. What should I get?

I plan on buying a couple of the new release games this year, but I'm interested in checking out some older games that I might have missed. Like 2006 and behind. Even mention games that existed during the 70s. I'm looking for mostly underrated, cult classics.

Any of the mario series, in the ROM department. Mm...I miss the old Battle Chess series and Ski Free. Chip's Challenge was awesome, as was Operation Neptune.

You could take a look at the original Resident Evil games, which came out for PC that is
