I've been going to the gym regularly for almost 6 months now and I'd be lying if I'm happy with how I look. I was expecting to loose more weight, and especially the flab on my upper body. I know you can't spot reduce fat, and so I'm doing the best I can - about 30 minutes of cardio on the cross-trainer 2-3 times a week.
My arms were a lot more flabby before I started exercising BUT they haven't gotten skinnier/more feminine. They're still big, but instead of flab they're more muscular. I don't lift heavy weights and I don't do it very often, but they're STILL much too muscular.
What can I do to get rid of the big muscles? My friend have arms muscles too, but they're more toned and her arms still remain somewhat skinny. What am I doing wrong?
When I lift my arms up over my head the armpit area looks really wide - why's that?
