Hi, I own a 2002 Cadillac Escalade 6.0L AWD and my Father owns a 2007 Chevy 6.0L Silverado. I really like the way the ignition sounds on his, it's a very distinctive ignition sound only found with the newer GM truck models.
I would like to know what makes the ignition sound on a vehicle. I am not 100% sure that it is the starter, so if you feel like you are all knowing on this subject please feel free to help me out. I am looking to purchase a used starter and switch it out with my old one...if it is the starter. Thank you.
