I want it metal-bodied (frustrated)

I have owned a Tungsten T for the last 3 years, so I'm thinking of getting a new PDA. Following the relatively good comments, I have been leaning toward the TX.

However, seeing its plastic body has been appalling. Especially accustomed to metal bodies (m515, and the TT). It looks as it's going to melt on the hand...

If it not where for the bad going the Lifedrive is giving in terms of stability, I would go for it just for the metal chassis.

Any ideas? Or, do I have to look for a good metal bodied PDA among PocketPCs???

I thought the T5 was plastic too...at least it sounds like plastic.

In which order would you recommend the Lifedrive, the T5, and the TX? Forget the plastic factor.

Ok, I own a T5, had a lifedrive for about a month and the TX looks ok but I don't need the wifi.

LifeDrive is a brick. It's slow and large - but if it's storage you want then that's got potential.

T5 - finicky because of the builtin SD card. Device recognizes the internal when connecting to the PC so you get that annoying sound announcing that you've connected another drive. Can transport alot and battery life is great.

I'd probably go TX though and grab large SD cards if I need the room. Leave the wifi off and battery life should be acceptable but way better than say a T3 with an SD wifi card.

If you don't need Wifi - T5
If you do then Tx

Good. I don't need the WiFi either, so I'll check the T5 too. Even being plastic, I think it looks better than the TX. How long does T5 battery go?
