Okay I come from Kenya and as a developing country manufacturing products are a real hassle, especially our main exports like tea and coffee besides tourism and all that. We have the raw materials and our primary sector is doing more than perfect, but when it comes to manufacturing the product, most of these materials are sold to foreign nations to help us manufacture the materials, the problem being they sell it back to us at a higher price. Which means after buying it we hike the price of the product to compensate for profits and tax thus increasing inflation which is not good news in a developing country that needs all the money it can get. Problem is that politicians don't wanna ivest in industrialisation cause that means allocation of resources will lead to less salary and allowances, so I'm guessing we have to start small and privately. I'm about to go into Business and Human Resource Management, my brother's doing computer science but was interested in engineering. My mother works with flowers another major export in the country. But after graduation in terms of manufacturing I wouldn't know where to start. Is it a good thought? Any ideas?
