christians and straights.....can you help being attracted to the opposite sex? can you put in enough will power to like the same sex if God and society willed it to be?
gays feel the same.....but it is a chemical inbalance for both ways of testostorome and estrogen....if you don't agree i want to hear you stand up to what you believe in but at least can we try to understand each other? even if we don't agree on it? gays have the punishment to be sent to 'hell' if that's what you believe but it is also 'thou shall not judge' one believer told me i couldn't belive in evolution and God that i must go by the FULL bible.....but i am very religious and i just want world piece wich starts one step at a time from us understanding each other before we understand our Earth......

be harsh or nice.....i just want to know what you have to say about eachother....

I know God wouln't do that but even if we don't agree with eachother...why can't we get along? if ALL races didn't agree with eachother and made fun of eachother the world would be even closer to the end as we know it....God made them like that....God made you beilive and gave you that WILL to belive... we may all be sinners....ya'll sin too....why is this the specific sin to hate over all others?

help me understand PLEASE.....i just don't get why we hate eachother over this.....

I'm on the gay side, and I have to say that I didn't want to be attracted to men. I just am. I certainly didn't choose it, and I couldn't NOT be attracted to men even if I tried my hardest.
 
I can't help being attracted to the same sex. No one who truly is gay/lesbian can help it. It is how it is.

I didn't CHOOSE to be a lesbian. Do you honest to God think that I chose to be a lesbian, KNOWING that I could walk around and get beat up for liking the same gender? Do people honest to God think that I actually like losing friends because of something I can't help? Look at it from my shoes! If I could take back and be accepted again, I would be straight!

You didn't choose to be straight. You just knew.

Why should I have to suffer because I'm not the "perfect" little doll that they want me to be?

Blacks and whites went through the same thing not too long ago and now look, we have a black president. Why can't people just realize that we really are capable of having loving relationships, taking care of children whether we make them or not, and bringing them up into a healthy environment. We can do EVERYTHING a straight person can do. We just love a different gender.
 
I'm a lesbian and always have been. I can't look at a man and make myself feel genuinely attracted to him just in the same way a straight person can't look at someone of the same sex and make themselves attracted to them. If I could have chosen, I wouldn't have chosen to be gay, as I've had to deal with a lot of harassment for it and my future is currently limited because people out there don't want me to have all the rights of a straight person.
