I want an iPhone but it doesn't make financial sense as I've got a work

phone.Would an iPod Touch do the trick? My phone bill's already paid for on my work Blackberry, so there's no point in getting an iPhone but I want all the features which is why I'm considering an iTouch as an alternative. One of the main things I want is fast access to the internet on the move and all the applications that come with with iPhone - does the iPod Touch provide this?
 
Internet on iPhone, AFAIK, is wi-fi only. You have to be near a hot-spot. If you want a media device, you should probably just get a Nano, or some non-iPod device.
 
The only way to access the internet on an iPod Touch is via wi-fi. But Wi-fi is not always available "on the go" as you mentioned. The iPhone has internet access "on the go" via 3G network.
