i want a cellphone for christmas!!?

You're too young to have a cellphone! I didn't get one til I was 15. Seriously, enjoy your childhood, and listen to your parents!

If you are going to be 12, I would give up Christmas, and ask your parents what you can do from now and your birthday to prove that you can handle a phone
This way, you will have to prove you are responsible and if you fail, you know not to ask
 
if you need one OK, if not, it's a waste. Think of reasons why you need one... umm, you don't chat so much on a cellphone, you know. I recomend Samsung d900. Cool and sleek, no games so you don't get addicted but VERY smart. But ye, you are young. So if they have any old phones ak for them, cuz if they know you really need one and feel safe with one, it's okay, right?
 
so im asking my parents for a cellphone for christmas and they said "no". they wont even by me one like a trac phone or prepaid phone. they say i will talk to much, and they think im young!!! im going to be 12 in january. sooo what ur opinion??????????????
 
I got my first cellphone when i turned 12. It wasn't a fancy phone, it was a Pink flip phone. It wasn't the BEST phone ever, but i was just thankful that i GOT a phone. If you want a cell phone that bad, then do chores without your parents asking. Take out the trash, load the dishwasher, clean the dishes, help set the table for dinner, clean up your room, say "please" and "thank you" and "no thank you", vacuum your room, dust your room, clean your toilet, help your mother cook dinner, get good grades, be polite, pick up anything you leave on the floor, help your brother and sisters clean up their room, or offer your mom and dad and brothers and sisters "coupons" such as "I will vacuum my room for a week" or "I will wash the dog" or "I will make my bed" or "I will clean up the kitchen after dinner without any help". If you are to do some of these chores before christmas, i am sure that you will get a phone. If you do some of these chores, and you REALLY think you are going to get a phone, don't get your hopes up. Also, if you are polite, and if you get a phone for christmas, right after you get your phone, don't go back to not doing your chores, and not being polite. I hope i helped! Good Luck!
 
i got mine wen i was 12 and it was way to early cus none of my other friends had 1. sigh although times have changed and evn like8 yr olds have cell phones now.
