i wanna learn how to throw knives!?

I think knife throwing is really cool. it's not like I have money or the means to seek out someone to actually teach me, so I'm thinking I'll teach myself. It's just something I'd like to learn to do.
do you know how id start?
what kind of knife should i get?

does anyone have any idea?
