...sound needy? I'm afraid I'll sound like a typical needy girl (no offense ladies) if I complain about this.
So, when we first met, we talked over the phone and through skype almost every night. Then, for some reason...after we actually met in person and started a real relationship, we stopped calling altogether and only communicated through texting. I was fine with this since I am extremely busy and so is he. The only time we speak over the phone is if I drunk-dial him on a weekend.
Thing is, I feel like nowadays I'm ALWAYS the one that needs to initiate a texting conversation. Last week, I heard from him on Monday....and then nothing until Friday, when I couldn't take it anymore and texted him. Then today, I did it again because I wanted to know how his weekend went (we are long distance, btw).
I know you are going to say that he is losing interest in me or that he is cheating, but I don't think either of these things are true. He really only has one good friend that he sees a couple times a year, and I think its simply because he's absolutely terrible at keeping in contact with people. But I can't help but feel like he never thinks about me, meanwhile he's always in my thoughts.
When I see him in person, though, he's the sweetest guy ever. I just don't understand why when we're apart he is so distant (emotionally).
@RuthAnn: I can't just give it a rest. He is the first guy I've ever loved and he manes the world to me. We'll be together for a year coming this March...
