I used to rate the 6630 - until ...

I discovered (just now) the silky charms of the chunky 6680.
What a phone.
Handles BEAUTIFULLY (for a Nokia) - nice D-pad (the 6630's select button is quite stiff and precision-demanding), good keypad.
Lovely display - more refined than the 6630.
Oblong - which has several advantages over the square-pear 6630.
And S60-2 - so lots of apps.

Only downside (next to N70) is lack of speaker-independence and 2-MP camera.

But if it's a chunky handling experience you want, then the 6680's your man.

Out of interest, I just tried an N72 (the N70 D-pad/'2'-key interference was a deal breaker) - which on paper is quite nice (2-MP, S-I voice recog., S60-2) ... but the tiny keyboard and fussy D-pad are abysmal.
Uncontoured keys mean you have to press them to see which one you've engaged and the indifferent, square D-pad (one of my N70 issues) is a PITA.
Also, the C, pen, multi-media and menu buttons stand insufficiently proud of the housing - so require finding, rather than presenting themselves.
I could have lived with EDGE (N72) instead of 3G (just) - but both phones are spoilt by the cruddy ergonomics which presumably, were sacrificed in favour of maximising compactness.
Bad trade-off, Nokia !
Shame.
Two great S60's spoilt by ergonomics.

That said, the N95 - with its independent select button, looks like Nokia have (hopefully) savied up their design criteria.
