i use frostwire to get my music for my ipod but now i cant even find anything

when i search name of the songs? what should i do? i dont wanna delete frostwire because then my ipod music will get deleted then ill have to start all over.. what should i do? is there like upgrades or what? idk SOMEONE HELP
