i unlocked iphone, put in sim card (from rogers), but it is not making phone calls?

Is your iphone a 3G or a 3GS ?
Go to your general settings in your iphone , then about and look at the version
If you have a 3GS and your phone has a 3.1.2 firmware , it won't work . If you have a 3G on the 3.1.2 firmware , then same thing . All phones that are new are on the 3.1.3 firmware , if anything below (and recently new or bought) then the iPhone wont work.
Most likely someone was fucking with the jailbreak settings or simply because you need to actually connect your iPhone .
When I got my iphone , they did alot of sh** to connect it .

just because it's unlocked doesn't mean it's going to work on a carrier's service it wasn't designed for. You may have to have it configured too. take it to your carrier and see if they will help you. more than likely they are not required to, since it not their phone to begin with, so be nice.

why is this...i got my iphone unlocked, i put in the rogers sim card hoping i can make calls on the iphone, but it is not working?
