I tried to update my 6680. It failed. Now my phone won't turn on.

Hello, I didn't read through all the threads but I am in dire need of help. I have a nokia 6680 and I tried do a software update. Well, for some reason it failed and now my phone won't turn on anymore. I was wondering if anyone experienced this problem and if there is a way to fix this problem and get my phone back up and running. Thank you so much for your help.

How did you try to update the phone, via Nokia's application or Phoenix?

I was using the nokia software application to update my phone. If the format trick you mean hold down the Dial, Star, and Number 3 button while trying to boot up my phone, then yes I have tried it but to no avail. Thank you for helping with this. I would have checked earlier but I am currently at work. I apologize for the late response.

Can't he try to flash it again the NSU? I thought someone said they were able to recover their phone after NSU bricked it using the same software?

well he cant flash it thru nsu if his phone doesnt turn on i think~

I was thinking the white screen boot up that doesn't complete? Something like that is supposed to still be recoverable by NSU, right? Or is Phoenix the only program that does this successfully?

i think it would be phoneix...u cant do anything with nsu if the phone isnt turned on for u to access the info~ of cuz i can be wrong
