I tried to partition my Mac using Boot Camp for space I can use for a

Windows OS… (Read extra details)? I have a disk that will let me put Windows 7 Ultimate on my computer using Boot Camp. So, I opened Boot Camp Assistant and began to partition 32 gigabytes for the Windows operating system. My brother made me force quit Boot Camp while it was partitioning, and now I do not have the partitioned drive or whatever you call it and 34 gigabytes of space on my Mac is just gone. I went from 89 gigabytes of free space to 56 gigabytes of free space. So here is what I did to tr and fix it:

1. I shutdown my computer to see if it would reset, but it did do something, it gave me 1 gigabyte of space back, but that is it.
2. I looked all through my Mac to try and find what was taking up the space, but found only the normal files that were there before.
3. I turned made all invisible files visible and then looked again, but to no avail.
4. I opened Boot Camp Assistant to see it I could "departition" (if that is a word) the space and get it back, but it did not even seem to know I already did (well, at least tried) to partition some space.
5. I contacted Apple's Live Chat, and they told me to call a number tomorrow, which I will do, but I want to see if I can get this fixed quicker.
6. I opened the Disk Utility to try to fix the problem. It would not even fix it without the operating system disk, the one that installs Snow Leopard. I will also do this tomorrow once I find the disk.
7. I reopened Boot Camp Assistant to see if I could partition more space, but it would not let me.

Everything I tried has failed. I have only 3 options left that I know of: go to the Apple store, find the Snow Leopard disk and try to fix the problem, or reset my entire computer (which is backed up on a Time Capsule, thank goodness) and restore it.

So here is my question: What should I do to fix this?
I forgot, I actually failed 8 times, I also relaunched Finder.
