on my 1996 yamaha yzf 600 i lost the key last summer and needed to have it started up so i tried to hot wire it and there was 4 wires two big ones a red and rather yellow one...when i cut the red one my pliers was touching a ground and i think it shorted something....i checked some fuses under the seat that were ok....there were only like 4 fuses,...and i hooked the yellow wire to a battery charger and the lights came on and allowed me to start it....shut off when i took the power supply off...
did i mess something up or what?
