I loved my 2008 RX-8 GT but it got 16 mpg overall. This was un-acceptable to me even though i know the rotary engine very well and knew it wouldnt be getting good mpg. I finally cracked and bought a 2009 "leftover" Mazda Miata sport. It listed for $25,258 and I got it for $19,958 plus $19,000 for my trade. The mpg will be almost double in the Miata and my loan interest rate is much less at 4.25% for 4 years. And my insurance will be $171 less. So I will be saving money 4 ways: lower payment, lower interest rate, better mpg and lower insurance. The car isnt nearly as powerful as my RX-8 though...any thoughts? Did I make a good choice or not?
The car had 20 miles on the odometer when I drove it, I bought it the same day.
This car is on Car and Driver's top 10 best cars list!! WOW!
Wow, the more I read the better it gets...The Mazda Miata is the most track raced car in the world! More than any other model or brand.
