I took the SAT Subject Test and did well, why should I send my scores to colleges early?

I took 2 of the subject tests in May and did pretty well on both. I have an okay idea about which colleges I want to apply to (I just ended my junior year), should I send score reports now or wait until I am applying during the fall? What are the advantages of sending them early?
(PLEASE NOTE: I understand that it costs like $10 per report, the money isn't an issue)
Are there any bonuses to sending early?
 
If you do it now you won't have to worry about it later. When you start applying for colleges in the fall things might get hectic... you have to write essays and sometimes the applications are just ridiculously long. You also have to worry about filling out the FAFSA and applying to any scholarships that you want.
