I recently bought a netbook, however my little sister connected the wrong power chord to it. The wrong power chord belongs to a big fat entertainment purposed laptop. For a while I thought the netbook was fried and dead because it wouldn't turn on with its original power chord. However, it still works with the wrong power chord! I only turned it on and then immediately disconnected it, scared that I might cause further damage. I don't know a great deal about computers, can someone enlighten me on whats going on with my netbook? Why is it doing this? Is it broken, do I need to get it fixed? Or is everything fine and I should just use the wrong power chord from now on? Or any other form of advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
The wrong power chord reads:
Input 100-240V ~ 1.5A(1.5A) 50-60 Hz
Output 19.5V(19.5V) ---- 4.62A(4.62A)
The original power chord for the net book reads
Inpute 100-240V ~ 1.4A(1.4A) 50 - 60 Hz
Output 18.5V(18.5V) --- 3.5A(3.5A) 65W
