hes about 5 years old and suddenly today i went to feed him and he was swimming sideways and upside down and finally gave up and fell to the bottom i think he wanted the food and realized he couldnt get to it ive read about swim bladder i can see that being a possability and then i thought maybe he swallowed a rock or something because hes always playing with the rocks i tryed looking in his mouth without stressing him out to bad and it didnt look like one was there there i changed out 30% of the water added some stress coat and aquarium salt along with melamix i think thats what it is its just all i had and i figuired it cant hurt...
his tank is a few degrees warmer now also i figuired that might help.
hes just laying on his side and on his stomach but he keeps scooting around...
he ate a couple days ago..
ammonia is 0 nitrite 0 nitrate around 10 temp is about 79 degrees hes been in his tank all his life pretty much so its definatly a cycled tank..just trying to save people wondering stuff, its a 20 gallon tank.
i already tryed giving him a pea he sits by it and just opens his mouth wide and then breathes fast please give your advice i dont want to loose him
