My blue Crowntail, Ricky is always trying to fight Ripples the pink one, yes there is a divider but I still feel bad for him, cause Ripples shies away from Ricky...
I moved Ripples to the right side now becuz it allows a little more room, and Ricky to the left side, but is there anything else I can do to help?

Betta are very aggressive, and territorial. They are called the Siamese Fighting Fish for a reason!

Rickey could be under a lot of stress right now.

First of all, you could get a divider that the betta could not see through.
Secondly, you could move Ripples into another tank. Rickey is too stressed to be moved right now.

Make sure you also keep your Betta's water at 78-80 degrees Farenheit.

Betta fish are mostly carnivorous, so feed them Brine Shrimp, Blood-worms, mosquito larvae, and ghost shrimp fry. Try to get these freeze dried.

One day a week they should be fasted, which means they should not be fed 1 day a week, to clear out their organs, and prevent bloating.

I hope I helped!

I think it will improve if you put a plant in front of the divider in Ricky's side. That should block his view and keep him more calm.

u know those type of fish dont like being next to eachother. It doesnt matter if they are separated by the glass wall. They just like to be alone. Trust me I had 2 of those fish and the people of Petco told me to never out them next to eachother because they get mad and intimidated as u say... Lets just say they like their own personal space so separate them where they wont see eachother. ONe of my fishes like that , he was purple, was named Grumpy because he was always mad..... but he was never next to another fish of his type. so it can also be their nature...
