injector to run more lean? My 2001 Dodge Stratus with over 115,000 miles is running pretty well averaging 21-23 MPG... but i think it is running a little too rich because the tail pipe is covered with a thick coat of carbon when i tried to clean it with a white cotton cloth dipped with gasoline... i do not drive with a heavy foot on the accelerator and i use Chevron's fuel injector cleaner once a month to make sure i have a clean injector for maximum fuel efficiency... but with gas prices costing over $4.35 per gallon, i want to make my car run as efficiently as possible... how can i adjust the fuel injector to make it run more lean? I was told the fuel injector can not be adjusted because it is conrolled by the car's computer. But another person told me it can be adjusted. Please respond only if you have actual knowledge or actual experience in adjusting fuel injectors for Dodge cars. Do Not respond with silly answers such as suggesting to take my car to a mechanic or to the Dealership. Thank you.
