i drive a 1993 jeep grand cherokee laredo, its a 4L |6 the tranny has been overhauled about a year and a half ago...no problems until now.
last night as i was driving, it was working fine until i suddenly felt it shifting at wrong times. then i pulled over and when i wanted to move again it seems like it is stuck in a high gear simply because there is low torque. engine was reving around two grand and the jeep felt like it was struggling. i also noticed that when i tried pressing OD (overdrive), the light will not turn on. but when i start the jeep it blinks once..any idea what is causing this no shift and no OD problem...could it be bad plugs/ wires? thanks in advance
test drove it again this morning and still no shift...all forward gears seems like they are in high gear even when i shift it into 2 and 1. reverse works fine....going up my driveway, i could remember seeing 2500-3000 rpm and it struggles.
