I was sent to L&D yesterday after a normal OB appointment. My doc checked my and said I was 2 c m and 70% effaced. They monitored me for a while and then gave me steroid shots to help with the baby's lungs if i were to go into pre-term labor. They sent me home and I'm on bed rest... All last night and all day today I have been having a dull ache in my lower back that is constant, and then about every 10 minutes I feel contractions, but only in my back. I can feel my stomach tensing up, by not pain up front. I am only 32 and 6 days preg.
I think I may be having back labor. I am pre-term.?
