Ok, so what gives. I was brought into the ER unconscious (from a heart problem) and they didnt know why I was unconscious so they did a drug test. I came back positive for Angels Dust. I dont even know what the heck Angels Dust is, I certainly havent taken any of it. I am on a fair amount of medications (nonnarcotic) so I wondering if it was an interaction. Can someone help me try to find where it lists what will make you test positive for this?

That's a new one to me. I thought that PCP was like acid or something and the only way they could detect it was through a hair sample. I'm sure that I'm wrong though as I'm relying on my wisdom from my teenage years on that subject ha ha ha

Anyhow, did they run the test a 2nd time to confirm it? I would seriously question the hospital where they tested you at.

HOLY CRAP!

I have no idea how that would have happened? COuld someone have slipped you it? I don't know how to take PCP so I am not sure if that is possible.

Good luck with that!

Scary huh.... What scares me the most is this was an on the job injury and here I test positive for PCP!!! I certainly have not taken the drug nor could anyone have slipped it to me. The ER doctor said he spoke with the lab and they said that it was likely a false positive and they said it is the most common false positive test there is. At any rate, I cant find any proof of this on the internet, and I would like to know if there is a drug that is causing this to test positive. I can see my job slipping away!!!

That is just very very wierd. Did your boss find out about the result? If so, can the ER doc confirm that it was more than likely a false positive? Hopefully it's a reputable hospital and that they can help with this.

hey, angel dust also known as 'poppers' is often used by gay men to relax the anus. It also speeRAB up heart rate. I really do not know how you could not know if you've taken it. However if you have been out drinking it may have been put into your drink.
