or forced to wait till the bell? The other day, a boy in the class asked to go to the bathroom. Class had just started so I said he couldn't, he should have gone before class. A few minutes passed and he asked again and said it was an emergency. I told him no. I told him he wasn't to ask again and to stop disrupting class. With about ten minutes to go, I heard the dripping sound. He had peed in his pants. I made him stay there in his wet pants in his seat, but I think it may have distracted the other students. What's the right way to deal with this situation? On one hand, he shouldn't have been able to get out of class just because he wet himself. On the other hand, a student with wet pants can be distracting to the learning of the other students.
