ME: Hi *insert his name here*!
I wanted to ask you something, if that's okay with you.
HIM: What's that?
ME: My brother wants to learn Muay Thai. You do Muay Thai, right?
HIM: Yes.
ME: Can my brother do it?
HIM: How old is he anyway?
ME: 15.
HIM: There's one in *insert location here*.
ME: Oh? Where there?
HIM: Near *insert name of restaurant here*.
ME: Is that so? What's the name of the place?
HIM: It's a boxing gym. Okay. GTG
ME: Okay. Thank you!
Last Wednesday, my brother was telling my mother over dinner that he wants to learn Muay Thai for the summer. Luckily, I knew someone who does Muay Thai...my crush.
I wanted to ask him about it in person yesterday but I couldn't find an opportunity, since he's never without his friends and I wouldn't want him to be teased by his friends or I wouldn't want to be humiliated in front of a crowd.
So anyway, I grabbed the opportunity just a while ago. Does it seem like he was eager to get away or is it just me being silly? Did I come off too eager when using the "
" smiley face? How did I do?
