legs/hands/feet ache? hello, I have many herniated discs in my neck/lower back etc.. I am prescribed oxycodone 15mg tabs, im supposed too take 1 or 2 every 3hrs for major league pain ie.shooting pain in legs etc.. Im only 40yrs and i have asked the doc about the pain in my hands/feet/legs? my limbs ache like in a bad way so much that it hurts too move when i wake up in morning. its so bad that i dont get out of bed until i take 30mgs of the oxycodone ( not oxycontin) with relafin ( lyrica is available too me) im wondering like what the hell is the pain in my limbs all about? my doc says its arthritis? im wondering like ive had a crazy life style and was rough on my body in my 20s/30s. i was in bodybuilding heavy and was in the military as well, so both of those areas involved heavy weights, and lots of running like 15mi etc... but then again the limb pain etc did not start until i got on the heavier meds etc.. 4yrs ago i started with vicodin 10mgs and on up too 15mgs of percocet x2 etc..
would a progressive arthritis problem be the issue here? what makes the feet ache so much that it hurts too walk on them until i take pain meds? i hate depending on pain meds but my doc says without pain meds i will need surgery and more pain meds too follow lol... like my hands n fingers ache, legs ache, feet ache etc... i have too see the doc tommorrow... surely i dont want more pain meds, or should i go for more or a different type too relieve the pain? im wondering if its a severe form of arthritis or that one conditiont where your whole body is in pain all the time? its a chronic condition i just can think of... im wondering what this is and would i be out of line asking my doc too prescribe something strong for pain only too take when i wake up? like a stronger opiate? longer lasting in the morning as its just excruciating and my current meds dont even touch the pain... maybe i should ask for 80mgs of oxycontin when i wake up? im on 15 to 30 now of oxycondone at wake up? i hate asking for pain med increases as i feel guilty due too the stigma associated with pain meds... any advice??
