here in America? Folks, I stand before yall humbled and one sorry sorry feller.
For a lark I jumped into Yahoo Answers UK, France and Viet Nam and I used machine translation to ask some simple questions. I taunted the Brits about Prince Chuck and his wife gettin rousted by them miscreant students. Then I asked the French if they hated New Yorkers more than Texans or vice versa. Then I though I wood mess wif therm Vietnamese by askin them why they did not occupy America after beatin us in that ole Vietnam War.
And I got me some sharp replies, the ones I was lookin for when I poked them that way. But mostly I got nice friendly neighborly replies like yall dont really see to daggum often here in the USA section.
These Brits, Frenchmen and Vietnamese has every reason to ridicule me especially when I give them every reason to do so. I aint no kin to them and in the past we mixed it up pretty good wif them. Yet for the most part these folks chose to extend a friendly hand and not some mean one.
But my brother and sister Americans aint got no reason to pound on me and I aint got no reason to pound on them. We are all in the same daggum boat. I am startin to feel just a tad bit sorry about all the mean if extremely funny stuff I said about many of yall and am feelin perhaps a tad bit more tolerant about the very mean if not at all funny stuff some of yall done said about me.
Maybe it is Christmas time that is turnin me all soft and weepy or some other thing that caused me to experience this Epiphany but for whatever reason I am gonna throw it out there.
