for the past couple days my toes are going numb for hours at a time, and not when i'm cold. i've tried stretching and yoga and stuff to improve circulation but nothing helps. I don't know if it has to do with going vegetarian or not... :/ Other than that though, i feel really good, my skin is better, i have more energy, and i'm losing weight without even trying. thanks.

I've been a vegetarian for about 11 months, and I have never experienced anything like that before. You might not be getting enough protein from things like peanuts, eggs, etc. I would definitely talk to your doctor about this problem, but otherwise good luck with your vegetarianism!

Although you should make sure you get plenty of vegetarian sources of protein, I don't think that is whats causing your problem.
I would see a doctor if it persists, it could be a back problem, Raynauds, or a number of other things.

It can happen when someone becomes anemic. This can be because of iron deficiency. If that is the reason, then start eating more beans and eat the following foods to help absorption.

Fruits: Orange, Orange Juice, cantaloupe, strawberries, grapefruit etc
Vegetables: Broccoli, brussels sprouts, tomato, tomato juice, potato, green & red peppers

You can't just stop eating meat and fish all of a sudden after your body is used to absorbing those nutrients everyday and expect to get the same nutrients from eating vegetables. You have to account for all the missing nutrients. You can still get them with a veggie diet, but you have to be more careful about how much you are consuming and you need to make sure you are adding some protein and iron and other essential vitamins in there.

Google:
Iron Rich Foods

Not everybody's bodies are the same. We don't all have the same metabolisms and we don't all absorb nutrients equally. We wouldn't have diabetic people if everybody required the same things. Your body may need more iron than my body because it absorbs differently.

I would see a doctor.
I've never heard of becoming a vegetarian making your toes numb, in-fact, it sounds absolutely ridiculous. But, I'm not a doctor, so I can't tell you why your having this problem.
