i stink at sports but i really want to play them. i have tried a lot of them and i dont know wh at to do anymore.

If you like being active but aren't feeling fulfilled playing in a sport - I'd assume with other people - then you probably are just up against too much competition and you might consider trying out one of those same sports that you already have - but with in a league that has athletes that fit into a similar skill range as your own.

There's nothing wrong with doing that and you probably would get better at a sport if you studied the game and played it long enough.

Ask yourself this - What aspect of sports is it that you like? is it the competitiveness? The being active? the exercise? the social aspect? and then look at what you are physically cut out for. If you're skinny and quick - you'd likely be better at a sport that relies on these traits. If your big and muscular you might consider playing a sport that focuses on that. You aren't confined to one sport but you might have more fun doing a sport that you are cut out for.

You could even make up a game if you just want to be Active and have a good time with friends.

Me and some kids made up a sport called "nausea ball" where everyone spins around for 30 or so seconds before a kickball get punted and everyone scrambles to grab it and run to the other end of the field, you gotta move quick though or else the other players will take you down and run the ball back themselves. The player that successfully brings the ball back gets to be the punter next round. It sounds stupid but it was fun for us.

There really are a lot or sports out there - consider a more obscure sport like paintball, parkour, go-karting, dodgeball etc.

AND PLEASE don't ever choose not to try a sport because you think it will make you appear to be a loser. Sports shouldn't be about social status, they should be about you enjoying yourself.

Hope all this helps!

LOOK. nobody is ever perfect at everything. when you try something new, there will be people better than you. did they start out being fabulous? no! they had to work their way up.

find your "soul sport" by trying everything. don't quit after the first practice. do some research on the local or school sports.

who cares if you don't make the team try-outs? you're not the only one.

-Cheerleading: there's no ball! you gotta be energetic, confident, flexible, and dance-friendly. once you get past try-outs, you can only improve.

-Track: just run!

don't give up sports! look up youtube videos! good luck!

best thing, persevere, and if not. screw it :) as long as ur having fun doing it you shouldnt worry about sukking.

some people just arent sports people, but that doesnt stop 'em. i would try cross country, ultra chill, run at ur own pace kind of thing :) theres no coaches yelling, no physical contact with scary people and no need for coordination. haha. trust mme, no need for coordination at ALL.

just dont give up, sounds mega corny, but its a cliche for fun.

and...CHEERLEADING IS NOT A SPORT. so that ones out. lol.

happy sporting!
