Am I in the minority who prefers this one to the original? I loved the original dont get me wrong but I just found this one MUCH more nailbiting with them being stranded on a tropical island during a storm isolated - scary. I also thought Brandy's Karla was a better friend to Julie than Helen was and I think Brandys chase scene where she jumps onto the glass balcony is more original than Helens one that just drags on and on only for her to die.

This one may have bombed at the box office but I still think its the best and what a great ending aswell.

Not seen this movie for years but yes it was nail biting,
I prefered the second one too, i'd like to see them again some time
