...easy to scratch.suggestions? so i took my bike apart, sanded it down, sprayed a coat of primer on it and about 4 hours later i put red spray paint on it and now its a little bit sticky and easy to scratch. its in my basement btw. should i buy some clear coating or gloss? please help.

sounds like you put too heavy of a coat on. also basement isn't the best place to paint higher humidity. put a fan on and 100watt bulb in room. unless you have a 500watt helagon work lite that would be better more heat.
