Doe anyone remember this film on it's origional release in the 70's? It was banned because it was too violent and was classed as a Video Nasty!

Anyway it's soon to be available to rent and was wondering if anyone had seen it and your thoughts on it

The film has been out for AGES now (in its cut to ribbons format). The new release is the same as the previous release with a little more gore and guts and a few extra features.

The movie itself is alright - nothing particularly special. It's a great example of feminist film, but beyond that it's a pretty cheap and nasty affair; it's definitely a case of hype over substance

I saw this on video years ago, before it was banned. It was pretty forgettable really, certainly over hyped. Just a low budget revenge movie.

Buy the uncut R1 DVD; if you have to.

The UK version is CUT like hell!
