it legally binding? Is there any way I can get out of a real esate contract contract that I signed with an image of my signature. It was actually my wifes signature. She never physically signed anything. I scanned her signature and pasted on the contract. The real estate agent even knew it was electronic when she asked why the signatures all look the same and perfect.

They asked her to print the forms and mail them back or fax them. I was the one who decided to cut and paste her signature.

Nah, your actions. You sign an agreement like two times saying your electronic signature is you. Before you can even get to that part you have to enter secure data. You can try if you must, but technically it is legal. Second guessing yourself online does not make your actions any less legal.
