'I shot Andy Warhol'- 1996.

After watching a documentry on Warhol's life and art, I never realised there was a movie about the attempted murder of Warhol by Valerie Solanas-which I am intreagued to watch.

For any Warhol fans out there who have seen it, is it a good interpretation on what happened? I hate things that are innaccurate so thought i'd check first.

i saw it when it came out. think its lily taylor as valerie? was a good film anyway. maybe directed by mary harron now i think of it, who went on to direct american psycho..?

Yes that's correct from what I read on wikipedia (should be accurate?).

It does look a good movie and i'll be looking forward to getting it
