do I fix it? I put my new electric fireplace (Dimplex Sahara model) on my area rug to try it out. The heat comes out the bottom, but I had no idea how hot it would get. It got REALLY hot REALLY fast, and though I only had it on for about two minutes, it scorched my area rug. The fibers are all matted together, but it didn't burn it enough to leave a black mark or anything. Can this be fixed? And if so, how?
