i saw the faintest positive like on a pregnancy test.?

Chances are, it's not an accurate result. Pregnancy tests measure pregnancy hormones in your urine, and the hormones aren't produced until an embryo has implanted into the uterus. Generally, this can take from 5 to 12 days beyond ovulation, with the average being 7 days. It can take several days beyond implantation for enough hormones to be present in your urine to have an accurate result on a pregnancy test. It seems that 8 days after possible conception is too soon for a positive result. Wat a few days, preferrably another week, and test again with first morning urine, as this is the most concentrated with hormones.

LOL congratulations hun, I'd say you're pregnant! :) I got my first positive at 8 DPO, and it was soooo faint I thought for sure I had imagined it. I set it down on the counter w/ a sigh, thinking I was seeing what I had wanted to see, and I jumped in the shower. A few minutes later my husband got home, walked into the bathroom, and asked what TWO lines meant... All I could do was rip the shower curtain back open and say "Wait, you see it too??? I'm not imagining it???" which of course made me sound crazy since he was looking right at it and had asked about it. Haha. Anyways, ask a friend or your partner if they see it too, but odds are, if it's not stark white, then you're pregnant. :) Oh and, that line will get darker if you wait a few days and retest.
Congratulations again!!!

The soonest you can see a faint line is 8 days from conception.... if it is a legit pregnancy it should get stronger by the day. if it is a chemical pregnancy, the line might fade away.

I saw a faint line 8 days from conception and I am now 30 weeks pregnant. Good luck.
