I can't sleep. I know its 11.23 but I'm still to afraid to go to bed. I live on my own in a similar setting to that damn movie. This has never happened to me before but I cant get that bloody film out of my head. Please help me.

Argh my friend saw this last week and said it was the scariest movie she's ever seen in her life. Apparently a few people in the theatre were crying and shaking.

I agree to an extent... I mean, I think it's scarier than Blair Witch, and classics like The Exorcist and Halloween (not as good, mind). I'd be hard-pressed to find a film that scared me more...

I know exactly how you feel. I remember watching the Grudge 2 not that long ago and that film was on my mind for a couple of nights. Best thing to do is go to sleep with your telly on as it takes your mind off it, or you could just put a light on.:)

I can't believe any of this "I couldn't sleep" stuff people come out with. It's a film afterall! I saw the film the other day and admittedly it was a bit jumpy not only because of the loud noises. Maybe I would feel different if I watched it in a cinema but how people get scared by films is beyond me.

I have heard mixed reviews of this movie, havent made up my mind whether to go and see it yet, i used to love these kinRAB of movies but they do disturb me more now, i was given a copy of "The Exorcist"!!! i had watched it years ago but couldnt even stand having the DVD in the house!!! YIKES!!

Saw it.

And I would put it in my category of worst films ever. Along with:

TF: Revenge of the Fallen
AvP:R
Super Mario Bros.
Resident Evil
Gigli
Street Fighter

I made up the time lost watching this garbage by painting a wall and watching it dry.

My friend saw it and told me it wasn't scary at all.. but then she explained it to me over the phone at about midnight, and well my imagination went a bit crazy, and I was spooked by that alone. She was laughing at it, and me being in the dark could see shadows moving :o haha

I've never understood people that say "i don't want it in the house!" when talking about films. My mum was the same way with 'The Exorcist' too, purely because of its past reputation. I suppose its relatively understandable if you've got children in the house and you dont want them to accidentally find it and watch it, but most people that say this appear to have an irrational fear of the DVD itself. What exactly do you think the DVD is going to do? Curse your house?

It was awful. One bit made me jump but that's cause of the loud sound effects. It was ridiculous. Everyone in the cineme was laughing at it. Only about one person looked truely scared. Definitely one of the worst films I've seen this year.

It was terrible. Not scary in the slightest (and I'm a BIG wuss!!!).

Still think of it this way. It's not real! On the other side of that camera is a director, producer, cameraman, lighting guy, sound man and people making tea and coffee! :D
