I saw a bike unlocked bike?

i saw an unlocked bike out in the open and started looking at it because it look like a good bike any way i ended up moving it a few feet and once i left the park i saw i pick up truck with a bike in it. If that's the bike i was looking at can i be charge with theft even if i had nothing to do with the bike being taking
