...to create a ringtone...? I can synch it to my computer and upload songs and playlists to the phone just like you would to an Ipod. I'm wondering if anyone else who has this phone or is familiar with it knows if I can use my own music to create personalized ringtones for my phone. I haven't figured out if I can (or how to) use the music on my phone as a ringtone, or if its possible. If anyone has an information, that would be great. thanks.
 
ok.. first off.. this is my first post.. i made this account becuase i know how it was when i first got it also.. ok.. first.. goto ur settings, then click USB Auto Detection , and selet modem mode.... now... hook up ur chocolate to a computer with the usb adapter they supplied you.. ... when you plug in your phone u might get a box asking you what it is you wish to do.. you can go ahead and close that...., head to your computer and locate the new removable drive.... that will be your sd card.. once there.. you'll see a place to put your ringtones... i really hope this helps.. '' your able to place a mp3 file into it without changing file types.. but it is completly diffrent for movies.. for them you'll have to download a converter to change your movie file to ".3g2" then add it.... note the quality will reduce once you change it.. well.. bye
 
i had forgoten to tell you.. after you plug your phone to your computer you will need to goto the main menu on your phone.. goto your tools , then click on usb mass storage. this will make it so your sd card shows up as a removable drive" that is what you need"
