...on my bike so...? i checked on-line to see how much the ticket is going to be, cus i guess i could just pay it w/out going to court, it said $653!. I have friends who have gotten $150 for speeding in their car, naturally i though this amount was extreme so i decided to go to court. I have to see the judge in January. I have never gone to court so i dont know how to handle it, how to plead (guilty,not, or no contest), or how to ask for the amount to be lowered. Do i need a lawyer?? Please also how do i dress, like in a suit like in the movies?? i dont like but if you say i have to then so be it. Thanks ppl! I live in LA if that makes a difference
 
you have to follow the same laws on a bike that you do in a car.
If you have dunnith the crime, you should dooith the time.
 
going against traffic? were you driving on the wrong side of the road against opposing traffic? that's just idiotic.

If it's $653, maybe you gotta pay it to learn the lesson. you could've died if you get into a head on with a car.
