have abs on it since i wanna use? it as a racing car and how hard can i press the brakes before they lock up. i bought it for 1000 off a friend can it have abs installed and how much would it be. thanks alot
the problem isn't that they lock up, it's that as they get hot they stop working as well (or fade). you can probably do a junk yard upgrade on the cheap, but it will likely cost 300 or more. spend that money on some good tires and a helmet instead.
People drove cars without ABS just fine for decades. As for stopping without locking the brakes you just have to try it and see. It depends on your tires, your brakes, and the ground.
