tiny scratches everywhere.? Hello everyone, I just bought a 2010 black Ford Focus, about two weeks ago. Black is very hard to keep clean and is a pain to keep clean on a daily basis. I researched how to wash a black car for hours, so when I finally started to wash it, it looked brand new again. Top down, microfiber wash pad, Turtle Wax Ice wash, and dried it with a chamois. I look at it again...and there is hairline scratches all over the hood and etc. From a distance the car still looks perfect, but in the sun it really shows. Is this because Ford has a bad paint reputation? Or maybe I washed it wrong? Please leave feedback.
