i rear ended some lady on a turn. she was taking a left turn lane from a busy street onto a side street. she was on her phone talking as i seen her as she was turning. i then go, not too close to her. i been in an incident where my knee is jacked for life cuz of a crazy driver i was in with. so, i am as safe a driver can get cuz of that. anyways, as i was turning, i looked to my right, with the oncomming traffic, naturally, for a split second. i haven't calculated the speed of a norman car traveling on a turn yet, but guessing 10-15 mph. but, right before i actually got onto the road i was getting onto, the lady did a dead stop, i slammed my my breaks as i was lookin back to the front, seein her stopped. my rear end was still stickin out onto the main road from which i was turning from. she was still on her phone taking off. i kept honking my horn to get her to stop, she finally did, and i then called the cops. i know, 9/10 times, the one who rear ends someone is at fault. but, had she not been on her phone, actually paying attention to her surroundings, that wouldn't of happened. also, i'm not sure if she had insurance or not, i have full coverage, just got my car a couple weeks ago. i'm a common sense driver, i always check my speed. it's one of the things i do now driving. if you was in a car/truck, travelling 85 mph, with a krazy ass driver, chasin another car down for no reason, then gettin shot, takn out my knee and grazin the back of my head, definitely changes everything on the road for ya. so, i'm as safe as a driver can be. i always look at my front, just that was a total unexpected thing to happen. just a dead stop right at the very beginnin of the street, with oncoming traffic. so, either way, i'm sure i woulda got hit. ppl drivin 45 instead of 35 all the time on our main street anymore. this town is not meant for all the ppl it has in it. so, what's the opinion on that, her fault or mine.
