Here's my sitch....help!
I'm a long time (2+ year) semi-power user of the Treo 650. I have quite a few Palm apps that I use regularly (Chatter, PocketQuicken, Datebk, etc.). I'm terribly frustrated with the instability of the 650 (seemingly resets when I least want it to!) The data speed is also miserable IMHO.
I bought a 750v on eBay, had it unlocked and played with it for a week. I was starting to get used to the idea of WM and really liked the speed difference in the data. I started to find apps that could do some of the things I was doing with the 650, not as well, but close.
Out came the 8525 middle of last week and I ordered that to give it a test spin. I tried hard to like it, figuring it was half the cost of the 750v, and I could dump the 750v.
I can't like it though. I just don't like the slide out keyboard. The Wifi was kind of cool...but I suppose just about any WM device will do that with the mini-SD card. The data connection was about the same. It was harder to use as a phone than the 750v.
How does the 750v compare with the Blackjack? I suppose that is another way I could go to get the WM/faster data and also stay with a one handed device?
