I really want a good book but....?

Im 16 and looking for a good book to read, but when I look in the young adult section half or more of the books are about Vampires (which Im not interested in) or really lovey ones (also not interested in) Im looking for a good interesting book. I generally read reeeeally long books but anything will do :) Any suggestions?
